Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to consultations, treatments and bookings made with Radiance Aesthetics & Wellness. By making a booking you agree to them.
About the clinic
Radiance Aesthetics & Wellness is a sole-practitioner aesthetics clinic operated by April Waterman. Contact: aprilwaterman81@gmail.com · 07872 028436.
The clinic carries professional indemnity insurance and is fully licensed and registered for the treatments offered.
Bookings
All treatments are by appointment only. A consultation is required before any first treatment. A non-refundable deposit may be requested to secure a booking; where charged, the deposit is offset against the cost of the treatment.
Suitability and consent
- Clients must be aged 18 or over to receive treatment.
- You must complete a medical history form and disclose any relevant conditions, medications, allergies or recent treatments.
- Some treatments are unsuitable during pregnancy, while breastfeeding, or in connection with certain medical conditions or medications.
- The practitioner reserves the right to decline or postpone treatment where, in her clinical judgement, it would not be safe or appropriate.
- Written, informed consent is taken before each treatment. You may withdraw consent at any time before treatment is administered.
Payment
Payment is due in full on the day of treatment unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at booking. Card details are not stored by the clinic; payment is processed by your card provider or banking app.
Cancellations and missed appointments
The clinic asks for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, and no-shows, may result in the loss of any deposit paid and may be charged a cancellation fee equal to the deposit. The clinic will always try to offer an alternative time first.
Aftercare
Written and verbal aftercare instructions are given at the end of each treatment. Following them is essential to a safe outcome. The clinic cannot be held responsible for outcomes affected by failure to follow aftercare guidance, or by undisclosed medical history.
Results and review appointments
All aesthetic treatments produce variable results. Individual responses depend on age, skin condition, medical history, lifestyle and adherence to aftercare. No specific outcome can be guaranteed and more than one treatment session may be needed.
Where a complimentary review appointment is offered (for example two weeks after an anti-wrinkle treatment), it must be booked within the time-frame stated at your treatment. Top-up treatments outside that window are charged separately.
Photography
Clinical before/after photographs are taken only with your separate written consent and used only for the purposes you have agreed to. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to the clinic.
Complaints
If you have any concern about your treatment, please contact April directly as soon as possible so it can be looked into and resolved. If the matter cannot be resolved, you may also raise it with the clinic's professional or regulatory body, the details of which are available on request.
Liability
The clinic carries professional indemnity insurance. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited under English law.
To the extent permitted by law, the clinic is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any losses arising from undisclosed medical conditions, failure to follow aftercare, or attendance at treatment under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version that applies to your appointment is the version in force on the date your booking was made.
